Largest Commercially Available

Many years ago when we were ready to purchase our first real big screen TV, I had this discussion with my husband. I wanted the largest one available (yes, yes, most certainly trying to overcompensate for something :P) but he insisted that that was too big. (Really is that possible to have a TV that is too big?? :O) But he broke down when we were at the store and he said I could decide between the 65" and 73" (largest at the time), and the price difference was minimal.... and I made the mistake of choosing the smaller of the two.... never forgave myself for that... Okay it was humongous in our apartment and we sat waaaay too close to the TV, because of the size of the apartment, BUT now that we have moved into a HOUSE, AND the largest commercially available has been upgraded to 80".... :)

This beaut can be yours for the low, low price of $4399!

  1. We bought a Made in China Smart TV about 2 weeks ago: 26" may use as a desktop (though no MS Word) and surfing, cost HK$1998. :-) We were happy until we found out on the night after installing that whenever we tried going online, the remote control would cease to function. So the set is now back to the basics and serving as a TV instead of a smart TV. :(

  2. 26" is too big to be a monitor. I've seen bigger monitors, because of the length of the desk, you sits too close to the screen for comfort. As I have said, when we first bought the 65" TV, the couch could only go as far back as 9', that's waaaaay too close. There's a calculation of the optimal distance to sit from a TV screen. I believe it's twice the distance of the width of the screen...
